続、In the Cut
愛媛での公開も、とっくに終わったので、多少詳しく書いておく。（以前の記事 に追記です。）
数少ない見所。
一つは、オープニング映像。主人公のセリフを借りれば、「雪のように見えた」落ち葉が、ゆっくりと、はらはらと舞い落ちるシーン。美しい。
それから、ラスト前、道路を、よろよろと裸足で歩くメグ・ライアン。とても切ない感じ。（実際には疲れ切った状態と思われるが。）助かって良かった〜と思える瞬間。
これくらいしか、思い浮かばないよ。
後は、毒舌です。
まず、テンポ悪過ぎ。ダラダラ続いている感じ。メリハリが少ない。
犯人探しのサスペンス風な部分と、主人公が危険な（？）恋に落ちていく部分が、それぞれ中途半端で、どっちつかず。もう少し、どちらかに重点を置いた展開にすれば良かったのではないか？
その中途半端さの「せい」と、相手役の刑事が（セリフの内容など）何だか冷淡な雰囲気なので、「何故、主人公がそこまで惹かれていくのか」が全く理解出来なくなってしまう悪循環。（ただ、某サイトでは、「はまった」という感想の女性もチラホラ居たようなので、男と女では感じ方が違うかも知れない。）
それから、真犯人が殺人を繰り返した動機もわからない。（なので、観客には「サスペンス」部分に対する満足も与えられない。）
そして、映像では、カメラが寄り過ぎ。部屋の狭さや、緊迫感の演出だったのかも知れないが、失敗している。ここまで「アップ」が多いと、観ていて疲れるだけである。もう少し違ったサイズのカットや、俯瞰など、工夫してほしくなる。
メグ・ライアンは、やはり、ラブコメの王道みたいな作品の方が輝くのではないだろうか？本人は、何かのインタビューに「こちらの方が私らしい」と答えていたが、本音なのか？
今回の作品、彼女が「体当たり」で頑張れば頑張るほど、余計に空回りしている様で痛々しくさえ思われたのだけれど。
